DESCRIPTION:We are excited to present our 1st Annual BikerFest Block Party.   \nOur 2019 event was amazing thanks to the community and bikers that showed up and showed out! The event was so great\, we’re doing it again Saturday\, May 1\, 2021.  \nExpect even more as we continue to increase motorcycle awareness in Milwaukee and surrounding counties.  \nIn 2014\, after meeting the family of a motorcycle accident victim\, Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs was moved to introduce the first week of May as Motorcycle Safety Awareness Week. She understood the need to increase road safety by encouraging drivers to be more aware of motorcyclists. Our goal is to stretch her efforts. We recognize these motorcyclists as the teachers\, aldermen / women\, pastors\, lawyers\, mothers and fathers of this community and their presence on the road should be acknowledged.   \nThe BikerFest Block Party creates an opportunity to help bikers be seen as  #PeopleTwo\, an initiative\, we hope will help save lives by opening the lines of communication through interactivity\, education  and engagement.  \nThis is a fun and entertaining way to express that message while breaking barriers for a mutual change.  \n#PeopleTwo\, #BikerFest\, #BikerFestBlockParty\, #BikerFestBlockPartyMKE\, #BlockParty\, #Milwaukee\, #WISCONSINBIKERS
